Last Sunday during the 10:00am service we got to welcome and celebrate Scott and Shannon Cowan joining our family of faith by transferring of membership - be sure to give them a warm FUMC welcome next time you see them!

We begin our stewardship series, a three-week focus on the call to be generous. The theme this year is, "Living Water." We'll go to the well with Jesus in John's gospel, chapter 4, when he encounters a Samaritan woman. She discovers in their conversation that Jesus can meet her deeper thirsts and she is transformed. Our question this week is, "What are you really thirsty for?" Join us as we seek the living water that means we'll never have to thirst again.

Supplies for this year’s Operation Christmas Child are located in the Sanctuary building's Tower Room and Parlor, as well as in the Family Life Center Hallway. Please pick up a box or boxes, fill with items suggested in the pamphlet and drop off at Eagle Heights church. As an added gift, purchase an Operation Christmas Child plastic shoebox at Hobby Lobby. Dropoff will begin on Monday, November 16 and continue through Monday, November 23. Dates and times are on the front of the pamphlet. Also consider making a donation of $10 for each box to cover shipping, see the pamphlet for details. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

The church office will be closed on November 11, in honor of Veteran's Day. Many activities will still be happening in our building. Please note there won't be anyone to answer the door when you ring the bell. If you are concerned folks from your group will need access, please wait at the door and open it for them.

We’re excited to launch a new small group for parents with young children - Gathering in Grace. To help celebrate, they are hosting a holiday gift wrapping party on Tuesday, November 17, from 9:30-11:00am at First United Methodist Church’s Family Life Center! Bring your holiday presents, and we’ll provide the wrapping paper, supplies, and childcare!

Join us Sunday, November 15, for Momentum Youth’s annual "Thanks-For-Giving" Lunch & Live Auction! Enjoy a meal and support our youth ministry at either 11:15am or 12:15pm in the Family Life Center.

We’re also collecting donations for the live auction, including desserts, pies, breads, and other baked goods. To donate a dessert, please fill out the form using the button below. All funds raised go to support our youth ministry.

Help us prepare our Sanctuary for the Advent season on Sunday, November 22 at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary. This family-friendly service invites all ages to participate in this cherished annual tradition as we decorate our Sanctuary and reflect on the meaningful symbols of Christmas.
