Our retreat time will include a nice mix of time together and time in solitude. We’ll have three teaching sessions with our retreat leader, Dr. Escamilla and three worship services led by Pastor Charla and Dr. Escamilla together.

This retreat is designed as an intentional time away to pay attention to God’s voice in your life. “Come away to a quiet place and rest . . .” Mark 6:31

TONIGHT: Good Friday Worship Service

On Good Friday, April 3, at 7:00pm, we'll gather in the sanctuary for worship. Good Friday is the day we observe Jesus' death on the cross. Our time of worship will be somber and reflective. Our choir will sing a special anthem over us. We'll have seven devotions at the foot of the cross. As we hear about Jesus' last breath, darkness will descend. We'll depart in silence.

*FINAL PUSH*
Lent Offering 2026 - Rise Against Hunger

Throughout this Lenten season, we have come together in generosity to support Rise Against Hunger, raising nearly $10,000 to help combat hunger around the world. We are just shy of our goal! If you have not yet given, now is the time to help us cross the finish line! Your gifts will support our meal packing event on May 3, where we will prepare over 21,000 meals for those in need. Let’s finish strong and reach this goal together!

Request for Budget Feedback

We are in the season of budget preparation. Our new budget year will run July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Our Finance Chair, Roger McMillian, is requesting any and all feedback regarding funding priorities, amounts requested, and/or questions about budget process be directed to Daniel Guthrie, our Business Administrator.

Please email Daniel at dguthrie@fumcstw.org so that feedback will be in writing. Feedback deadline: April 15. In the last half of April, we’ll be putting the budget together. We are planning to bring it for final approval on May 21 at our Church Council meeting. All feedback and input is appreciated.

College Care Packages

Finals are quickly approaching, so it’s time to send Care Packages to our College students! The Youth want to let them know they are being thought of and prayed for during the most stressful week of their year!  If you want a box sent to your college-age student in time for finals week, register them by Monday, April 20, by CLICKING HERE.  A card-only option is also available.
