Look what showed up!

The tile for our sanctuary roof project showed up this week. We have a "corral" set up on the south end of the ECC parking lot as a holding area. The best estimate we have for project start is 5 weeks. When you get here on Sunday, take a look at these tile and offer a word of prayer for those who will be up on our roof very soon. May God bless them with safety and wisdom as they help us get ready for the next 103 years.

All members of Stillwater First United Methodist Church are welcome to attend the Foundation Annual Meeting
Financial Update for September
September was encouraging, with income exceeding the monthly budget by $6,244. We ended the month in the black, with a surplus of $5,062 when comparing income to expenses. At the end of the first quarter of our fiscal year, we are running an overall deficit of $51,520. This is due to deficits acquired in the first two months, July and August. These are typically lower months for our congregation.
We are pleased to report we've received over $300,000 in contributions toward the cost of the sanctuary roof project. Your generosity is encouraging and continues to reduce the amount we will have to borrow from our Foundation. Thanks for your investment in our next 100 years!
