Donated items can be left in the Donation Box inside the SW entrance of our main building. If you have a large donation please call the Hope House phone at (405) 385-2475 or email at stwhopehouse@gmail.com to schedule a donation time.
We accept clothing items for infants through teens. Please make sure all donated items are in very good condition and free of stains, tears, missing buttons, etc. We want our recipients to feel good about the clothes they wear and the items they receive. We are not able to accept donations of used car seats or cribs. If you have questions about items you want to donate, please reach out to us. Our current needs lists can be found on our Facebook page.
Monetary donations are also accepted and are used to purchase car seats, cribs, new socks and underwear, diapers, and other needed items. Checks may be made out to “FUMC” with “Hope House” in the memo line and turned in to the church office, or through our online giving portal and designating “Hope House” in the notes section.
The Hope House has volunteer opportunities on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 10am—noon; volunteering can include helping while foster parents shop for needed clothing and items, as well as weekly workdays. If you would like to be added to the Hope House email group to be notified of upcoming workdays and special needs, please send your name and email address to stwhopehouse@gmail.com!
