Confirmation Class

Wednesdays During the School Year at 4 p.m. – Family Life Center – 2nd Fl.

Confirmation is an opportunity for youth to confirm and proclaim their faith in God. Through class sessions with the pastors and meeting with personal mentors, Confirmation participants gain a better understanding and knowledge of the Christian faith, the core beliefs and practices of the United Methodist Church, and come to a full understanding of Baptism, Holy Communion, and what it means to become a professing member of the Stillwater First United Methodist Church.

Participants are given the opportunity to join the church on Confirmation Sunday held in the Spring of each year. The class is designed for sixth grade students, but seventh and eigth graders who have  yet to be confirmed may also participate.
